Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much will my landscape design cost?

The uniqueness of each design project makes it difficult to provide an exact price until the job has been completely reviewed and estimated. We work with each one of our landscape clients to ensure their happiness with the overall project.

  • Do you offer complimentary estimates before starting a project?

Absolutely! We understand that each landscape design customer is unique in what they are looking for and how much they want to spend. We will come out and talk to you about your specific needs/wants and provide you with a free landscape estimate.

  • What size projects do you do?

We are happy to work with all sizes of projects and budgets! From a small brick walkway to a bluestone pool patio, we can and will work with everyone's wants and needs.

  • Do you install your own work or do you hire sub-contractors?

Starbuck's Landscaping install all of our own work in the areas of "hardscapes" (i.e. driveways, walkways, pavers, retaining walls) and "softscapes" (gardens, flower beds, shrubs/trees, ponds and water features). By installing our own work, we achieve consistent quality and continuity of style throughout the project. We only bring sub-contractors in for work such as outdoor lighting, music, etc. (i.e. electricians) and/or irrigation system installers. In each case, we work with trustworthy professionals with whom we have had prior experience.

  • Is your work guaranteed?

With each project, there is a great amount of work that is put into the design and construction of our landscape projects. We are happy to guarantee our plant material for one year from the date of installation.

  • How do I care for my landscaping once the project is complete?

Each design is distinctive and client-specific therefore we do not feel comfortable offering absolute guidelines when it comes to watering, maintenance, and/or fertilization needs. But, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us and we'd be happy to help!
